Fullstack Web Developer

Position Overview

As a Fullstack Web Developer at Wertec, you'll be responsible for developing and maintaining web applications from front to back. You'll work closely with our design and product teams to implement responsive, high-performing websites and web applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web applications using PHP, JavaScript, and Laravel
• Build and customize WordPress sites to meet client specifications
• Create RESTful APIs and implement webhook integrations
• Set up and integrate payment gateways for e-commerce functionality
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code
• Ensure websites are optimized for speed, scalability, and SEO
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
• Manage version control through GitHub
• Troubleshoot and debug applications

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong proficiency in Core PHP and JavaScript
• Intermediate knowledge of Laravel framework
• Experience with WordPress development and customization
• Solid understanding of MySQL databases
• Expertise in implementing and consuming RESTful APIs and webhooks
• Experience integrating various payment gateways
• Proficiency with CSS frameworks, particularly Bootstrap
• Knowledge of GSAP for web animations
• Experience with GitHub for version control
• Familiarity with modern build tools like Vite for data bundling
• Understanding of on-page SEO best practices
• Ability to write clean, maintainable code
• Problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Nice to Have

• Experience with React, Vue, or other JavaScript frameworks
• Knowledge of server management and deployment
• Experience with e-commerce development
• Understanding of UI/UX principles
• Previous agency experience
