Wertec is looking for a PHP Developer who writes clean, well-documented code and understands how performance meets product. This isn’t just a "backend job" — it’s a seat at the table where performance, user experience, and impact intersect. You'll work on custom automation, internal tooling, and platform integrations (like Klaviyo, Shopify, and APIs). If you’re the type who solves problems before they hit production, and loves simplifying complexity, we want you.
What You’ll Do
Write and maintain PHP code for custom platforms and integrations
Collaborate with marketing and operations to automate workflows
Optimize existing codebases for speed, performance, and maintainability
Integrate 3rd-party APIs with existing systems
Troubleshoot and debug issues across the stack
Must-Haves
1–3 years of experience with PHP (Laravel is a bonus)
Strong understanding of MySQL or other relational databases
Ability to work in fast-paced environments with multiple projects
Familiarity with Git, basic front-end (HTML/CSS/JS)
Good communication skills and a proactive mindset
Bonus If You Have
Experience with eCommerce (Shopify, WooCommerce, etc.)
Familiarity with REST APIs, cron jobs, and automation logic
A habit of documenting your work clearly
