SEO Specialist

Wertec is seeking a skilled SEO Specialist to optimize our content for search engines and drive organic traffic growth. This role is crucial in ensuring our thought leadership content reaches and engages our target audience in the retention marketing and eCommerce space.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive keyword research to inform content strategy
• Optimize all types of content (blog posts, landing pages, reports) for search engines
• Develop and implement link-building strategies
• Monitor and analyze website and content performance using tools like Google Analytics and Search Console
• Provide regular reports on organic traffic, rankings, and other key SEO metrics
• Collaborate with content writers to ensure SEO best practices are followed
• Stay up-to-date with the latest SEO trends and algorithm updates
• Provide SEO training and guidelines to other team members

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Computer Science, or related field
• 3+ years of experience in SEO, preferably in B2B or SaaS environments
• Proven track record of improving search rankings and driving organic traffic growth
• Strong analytical skills and experience with SEO tools (e.g., SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz)
• Familiarity with content management systems and basic HTML
• Understanding of content marketing principles
• Excellent communication skills and ability to explain SEO concepts to non-technical team members
